Last month we had the pleasure of cozying up in a beautiful A-frame cabin for a long-weekend with no phone service and mountain views. Jack had been noodling around with this diddy for a month or two, but we hadn’t worked on it together.

On the last night of our recording getaway, the golden hour turned the whole cabin aglow, and in the last ten minutes before sunset we realized we didn’t want to miss the moment. The only song that felt at home here was 'End of My Road,' so we spent two of the ten minutes setting up the camera, three moments writing harmonies and a bass line and what was left recording two takes. This is the first.

We didn’t think the song was finished, but when the sun dipped below Mt. Adams immediately after the second take, we knew there was no going back. This is where 'End of My Road' is meant to live and stay.

We hope it makes you feel as warm and fuzzy as we do remembering it. We plan to create like this on a more regular basis. It is really helpful if you subscribe to our Youtube channel and share. We appreciate you.
